Pleasant Hill’s Gavin Inglish broke the school record by scoring 56 points in a 78-61 win over St. Mary’s in the Christmas Classic at Cascade Christian on Dec. 23 – after The Chronicle’s early deadline due to Christmas. Pleasant Hill’s previous points record was held by Bruce Bradshaw, who scored 45 points in a game in 1961. Inglish shot 20-of-33 from the field, including 9-of-13 from 3, and finished with the most points scored by an Oregon player since Wilsonville’s Zach Reichle scored 56 against Milwaukie in 2017.
